Plan details checked September 21, 2026 on each vendor's own site. US dollars, before tax. Vendors change plans often, so confirm before you buy.
Amazon and Walmart sellers use two different kinds of tools: research platforms that price by how much you sell, and ad-management platforms that price by how much you spend on ads. Mixing those up makes the numbers hard to compare. This guide keeps them separate.
How this guide was built: it draws on each vendor's own pricing page. We have not hands-on tested every product, so we give no ratings or scores. Where a page doesn't state something, we say so instead of guessing.
1. Priced by your revenue: Helium 10 and Jungle Scout
Helium 10. Platinum, for sellers doing $0 to $100K a year, is $99 a month billed annually (list $129) or $129 monthly. It covers product and keyword research, basic performance tracking and Amazon/Ads academy training. Diamond, for $100K to $10M a year and marked Most Popular, is $279 a month annually (list $359) or $359 monthly, and adds the Helium AI Agent (keyword, listing, ads and operations intelligence in one conversation), AI listing building, rules-based ad automation, inventory management and a managed refund service. Enterprise, for sellers past $10M, starts at $1,499 a month billed annually and is a custom plan with a dedicated success manager and support for ad budgets from $25K to $1M a month.
Jungle Scout Catalyst. Starter is $29 a month billed annually ($49 monthly), limited to 1 user, with 50 tracked products and 500 sales estimates a month. Growth Accelerator is $49 a month annually ($79 monthly), adds unlimited opportunity searches, a 500-keyword rank tracker and inventory management, and lets you add seats at $49 a month each. Brand Owner + CI is $129 a month annually ($149 monthly), includes 10 users, and adds Competitive Intelligence with 5 market-analysis segments included. Jungle Scout Catalyst has no free trial; instead it offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. Its enterprise tier, Cobalt, is a separate product priced only through a demo.
2. Priced by your ad spend: Perpetua and Teikametrics
Perpetua. Essentials is a flat $695 a month for up to $10,000 in monthly ad spend, covering AI-powered bid optimization, automated keyword harvesting and profitability reporting. Growth is also $695 a month plus a percentage of ad spend, for sellers spending over $10,000 a month, and adds hourly reporting through Amazon Marketing Stream and a dedicated Client Success team. Premium, for spend over $500,000 a month, is custom-priced and adds market intelligence data and a dedicated account team.
Teikametrics. Essentials is $149 a month billed annually ($179 monthly) for up to $10,000 in monthly ad spend across Amazon or Walmart, and includes a free trial. Advanced, for spend over $10,000 a month and brands on 2+ marketplaces, is custom-priced at a base fee plus 3% of ad spend over $10,000, and adds Amazon DSP, Walmart Onsite Display and integrated Amazon Marketing Cloud reporting. Enterprise, for spend over $100,000 a month, uses the same plus-3% structure and adds managed services.
The two pricing models, side by side
- By revenue (Helium 10, Jungle Scout): you pay a flat monthly fee that steps up as your yearly sales cross a threshold. Good fit if you want a predictable bill regardless of how much you spend on ads.
- By ad spend (Perpetua, Teikametrics): you pay a base fee, and above a spend threshold a percentage of ad spend gets added on top. Good fit if the tool is actively managing and optimizing that spend, since its cost then scales with the budget it's responsible for.
- Multi-marketplace: Teikametrics is built explicitly for sellers on both Amazon and Walmart from its Essentials tier up. Helium 10 also supports Walmart in parts of its research tools. Jungle Scout Catalyst and Perpetua are Amazon-focused on the pages we read.
How to choose
- Match the pricing model to what the tool actually does. A research tool charging by your revenue makes sense; an ad-management tool charging a cut of spend makes sense too, since its job is that spend.
- Count your real monthly ad spend before picking a Perpetua or Teikametrics tier, since crossing the threshold changes your bill immediately.
- Check seat limits on the research tools. Jungle Scout's Starter plan is one user with no option to add seats; Growth Accelerator and Brand Owner let you add more.
- If you sell on both Amazon and Walmart, look at Teikametrics or Helium 10 first, since their pages explicitly address both marketplaces.
- Use the trial or guarantee before committing annually. Helium 10 and Teikametrics offer free trials; Jungle Scout offers a money-back guarantee instead.
Quick math: a seller doing $50K a year could run Helium 10 Platinum at $99 a month or Jungle Scout Growth Accelerator at $49 a month. A seller spending $8,000 a month on ads stays in Perpetua's or Teikametrics' base tier: $695 or $149-179 a month respectively, before any percentage-of-spend kicks in.
FAQ
Is there a free way to start? Not a permanent one on these four. Helium 10 and Teikametrics offer free trials; Jungle Scout offers a 7-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial.
Why do these tools price so differently from each other? Because they do different jobs. Helium 10 and Jungle Scout are research and listing tools, so it makes sense to price them off how big your business already is. Perpetua and Teikametrics actively manage ad spend, so pricing off that spend ties their cost to the budget they're optimizing.
